Wojciech Jeliński graduated from the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań with distinction. He was in the class of professor Maciej Łakomy, PhD. He also graduated from the prestigious Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, in the class of the long-time trombonist of the Berlin Philharmoniker Professor Christhard Gössling. In 2016-2018 he was granted the scholarship of the Karajan Akademie Der Berliner Philharmoniker, in the class of Professor Olaf Otto. In 2016 he was granted the City of Poznań scholarship for artists.

Is an associate professor at the Department of Brass Instruments of the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, and since 2019 has been the first trombonist of the T. Szeligowski Poznań Philharmonic. In 2021 he obtained his PhD degree in music arts. He is the creator and artistic director of Tromboholizm - Poznań Trombone Music Festival.

He played a number of concerts in prestigious festivals in Poland: International Festival of Contemporary Music “Warsaw Autumn”, International Festival of Contemporary Music “Poznań Music Spring”, “Old Cracow Festival”, concert of the laurates of the 20th-and-21st-century music in the W. Lustosławski music studio of the Polish Radio in Warsaw, Witold Szalonek in memoriam concert in Katowice organised by the Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne, as well as internationally: in Germany, at Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock, in Austria at Marathon V-Festival for young contemporary music in Vienna, in Estonia during Estonian Music Daysin Tallin.

He collaborates with the following orchestras and bands: Berliner Philharmoniker, Staatstheater Cottbus, S. Moniuszko Great Theatre in Poznań Gorzów Philharmonic, Polish Orchestra Sinfonia Iuventus, Collegium F, TrombQuartet, Sepia Ensemble, Mini, Animatic, Spółdzielnia Muzyczna, Respiro d’Arte, Polish Brass Trio, Trans-for-Matha, Ensemble Mosaik, Apparat, Ensemblekollektiv Berlin.

As an artist specialised in the 20th-and-21st-century contemporary music, he premiered pieces by contemporary composers such as Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska, Artur Kroschel, Zbigniew Kozuba, Reinhard Karger, Marek Barden and Ann Cleare. Despite his young age, he released several albums and music performances as a soloist with orchestra as Poznań Philharmonic, Jelenia Góra Philharmonic, Zielona Góra Phiharmonic, the Tutta Forza Orchestra from Gdańsk, the Symphonic Orchestra and Brass Orchestra of the I. J. Paderewski Academy in Poznań.
