He graduated from the Feliks Nowowiejski Primary and Secondary Music School and the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he studied with Szymon Pawłowski and Adam Stachowiak, and from which school he obtained a doctorate in Musical Art in 2019. He attended master classes of Igor Cecocho, Richard Stoelzel, Otto Sauter, Gabor Boldoczki, Richard Carson Steuart and Sergey Nakariakov.
He won the first prize in the Etiuda 2005 competition in Szczecin and participated in various national and international trumpet competitions.
Since 2009, he has been principal trumpeter at the Baltic Opera, with which he performed in Germany, France and China. He has taught the trumpet at Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music since 2012 and since 2015 at the Primary and Secondary General Music School in Gdańsk.
He also collaborates with Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Sopot, with which he has frequently performed at international festivals in Europe, featuring such outstanding soloists as Alena Baeva, Elisabeth Leonskaja and Reinhold Fredrich, and with the Polish Baltic Philharmonic on its German, Belarussian and Ukrainian tours.
As a soloist, he performed many concerts at internationals festivals in Poland, Italy and Spain. Also with the Chamber Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, premiering Kamil Cieślik's compositions, and with the PROGRESS Chamber Orchestra performing e.g. Dmitri Shostakovich’s "Concerto no. 1 in C minor Op. 35 for piano, trumpet and string orchestra".
He participated in the world premiere recording of Simon Laks's "Concerto da camera" under the CD Accord label and, together with the Chamber Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, recorded contemporary music works by composers associated with Gdańsk for DUX. He also participated in the premiere recording "inUnity. Contemporary Music from Gdańsk, vol. 3” and he won an award for this recording at International Competition "Music Eagles" for outstanding artistic, scientific and educational achievements in 2021.
He actively pursues chamber music. He is the founder of Quintet Brass and the Tutte Trombe trumpet ensemble composed of his graduates, students or pupils and winning numerous prizes in competitions in Poland and abroad. Together with Adam Sadowski (organ), he gives concerts at various national and international organ and chamber music festivals, including the Festival Internazionale Storici Organi della Valsesia (Italy).
Education has a special place in his professional work. He leads a number of music workshops for students of trumpet in Poland. He also collaborates with "Curso de Trompeta” at Canals, Spain. He is consultant of the Center for Artistic Education in Warsaw, supporting the implementation of tasks aimed at the aim of improving the quality of artistic education in Poland and is a member of the jury in many national and international competitions in Poland and abroad.
Moreover, since 2015, he has been the initiator, organiser and artistic director of the Prof. Szymon Pawłowski International Trumpet Competition, ‘Mały Trębacz w Trąbkach Wielkich’ and International Trumpet Festival in Gdańsk.
