Venezuelan trumpet player, born in the city of Caracas.
At the age of 12 he began his musical adventure with a Caribbean music group. A little later, his talent led him to join the orchestras Chiki Salsa and El Klan de Porfi, both led by the well-known composer and pianist Porfi Baloa. His interest in classical music began 3 years later when he joined the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Chacao and it was there that he began to be trained by the System of Youth and Children Orchestras of Venezuela created by Maestro Jose Antonio Abreu.
He was part of the Latin American Trumpet Academy, where he had the opportunity to be mentored by the great trumpet player Pacho Flores who, 3 years later, became his work colleague when Cesin, at the age of 18, won the competition in the Simón Bolívar Orchestra of Venezuela. With this orchestra and the Venezuelan Brass Ensemble, he had the opportunity to make several international tours in Europe, the United States and Latin America. In 2012, he won the third prize in the María Paula Alonso chamber music competition with the Stunning Brass Quintet and that same year he was invited as principal trumpet by the Miami Symphony Orchestra.
In 2015 he travelled to Paris to continue his musical studies with Eric Aubier at the Conservatoire de Musique de Rueil-Malmaison, where he obtained the highest qualification. After finishing his studies in Paris, he entered the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Lyon, one of the most prestigious conservatories in France, where he studied with teachers Christian Léger and David Guerrier. During his musical studies he was invited by the most important orchestras in France such as the Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse, the Orchestre National de Lyon, the Opéra de Lyon, the Orchestre National de Metz, the Orchestre National d`Île-de-France, among others. In 2019, at the end of his musical studies, he won the position of cornet/second trumpet of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the renowned Daniel Harding.
In 2021, Brayahan Cesin won the position of principal trumpet with the Orchestre National d'Avignon and a month later he won the position of principal trumpet with the Orchestre National de Lille, of which he is currently a member.
