This instrument was commissioned by the American Army, and for Vicente Honorato, it was a challenge to create a worthy, resourceful, practical, and high-performance instrument; in short, a professional instrument.
Military instruments, known as "war instruments," have never received special attention in their construction and musical treatment. They had a practical function, and fulfilling it was enough.
But at Stomvi, we weren't satisfied with this and wanted to give the Bugle a good sound quality, projection, comfortable playing and good ergonomics.
